What is a LAN/WAN party?

The idea is really quite simple. We have one (LAN) or more (WAN) locations where we gather with our personal computers and play games. The games vary, depending on the times and the mood of the attendees. By playing at a LAN party we can all play in one location and have a great time enjoying the company of others. In a WAN party we settle in two or more locations and play on online servers, and communicate using TeamSpeak.

If you've never played with or against others in multi-player games, then you don't know what you're missing!

1. ALL PCs present MUST be in working order. Repairs will not be carried out during gameplay! 2. Games/Software must be installed before start of event. 3. No pornography. 4. No physical contact/horse play 5. There is usually no room for extra equipment. Please leave it in your vehicle.	Required components: PC that is capable to run current games (check game requirements) Monitor Network cable Power strip Tylenol Hosts will be responsible for acquiring necessary hubs/switches/WAPs Possession of alcohol and firearms are based on the wishes of the host.
